The spires of Culver's Root

Culver's Root is a great plant for the woodland edge, moist meadow, or even home garden. It's flowers are often described as candelabra-like, with bright white spikes rising up in July and August to light up the garden.

Blooms: white, July through August

Height: 40 to 72 inches, most likely four to five feet.

Conditions: sun to part shade, moist-medium to medium soils, will grow taller in moist soils.
