Anaphalis margaritacea, Pearly Everlasting
Pearly Everlasting is one of those plants you expect to be a pure prairie plant because of its size and dry soil tolerance, but it is at home in the north, northeast, and Mississippi corridor of the Minnesota. It is a plant that is at home in the Great Lakes and New England States and much of the Inter Mountain and West Coast. Strange indeed.
Bloom: white, July through September
