Claytonia virginica, Virginia Spring Beauty
|Spring Beauty with early pollinator|

Spring Beauty grows well with several ephemerals like Dutchman's Breeches, Ramps, and False Rue Anemone. It occupies similar habitat to the much taller, but much later season Wild Golden Glow, Bottlebrush Grass, and more.
