Epilobium ciliatum, Fringed Willow-herb

Pictures to Come!

Fringed Willow-herb is one of the subtler, although common, plants found in semi-shady, moist spots. It is nobody's go to species, but like so many of the unheralded species of wet woodlands and pond-sides, it deserves a spot in your project. Wind blown seeds make it one of the common volunteer species found in regularly watered nursery pots of semi-shade plants.

Bloom: pink-white, June to September
Height: 1-3 feet
Conditions: part sun to part shade, moist soils
