Fox Sedge, so named for its foxtail-like spike, is a fine-leaved sedge that is common in Minnesota. It is typically found in wet areas, along streams, wetland edges, ponds, wet meadows and even your rain garden.

Fruits: June to July

Height: 1 - 3 feet

Conditions: sun, wet to moist-medium soils
