Field Pussytoes grow across the state of Minnesota in upland habitats -open woods, savanna, old fields, dry meadows, prairie. It is an valuable host for butterfly caterpillars. Leaves are prostrate along ground, forming a mat and flowering stems rise above.

Blooms: white, May into June

 

Height: 4 to 16 inches
