Wolfberries at night |
I've been growing a few of these out
for more than two years. Attractive blue-green foliage and unique flowers
and white fruit. There is confusion about species -one being the western
species with range over most of Minnesota the other a more northern
species at home north and east of I94 corridor in Minnesota. The one I
have is Wolfberry, not Snowberry, although they are very similar in
appearance. It appears that several sites have gotten these confused.
Blooms: pinkish white, June into July
Height: 3 to 6 feet
Conditions: sun to pt sun, medium to medium-dry soils
